Placements

Education & Health Nepal has been working in Nepal under our present name as well as our previous name of Experience Himalayan Nepal & over this time we have come into contact many projects who have wanted to work with us. Many of these we have worked with for several months to establish the quality of their work only to find that even when we offer help & advice to change their working practices they aren’t interested. Which is a shame really because as an organisation we tend to pay at least double to what most other organisations like us.

Rural farming above Trisuli

So over the past few years we have built up a solid network of projects including our own who work to our standard and these are the ones we display on the website. But if there are other types of project that you may be interested in then please ask because we do support others. Projects like day care centres, rural farming in other areas as well as many others can be arranged.

Over the next few years our aim is to establish projects and placements that use international volunteers to make a lasting difference in Nepal & eventually resulting in them not being needed. Using a combination of Western ideas adapted to work in a Nepali environment we hope one day to be the leading volunteer NGO in Nepal.  All of the projects we support now and will design in the future will have a purpose and you will be able to see the aims and outcomes of each one. At this present time EHN is growing each year and our team is constantly checking on new projects to see if they make the EHN grade.

Teach these guys?

At this present time EHN is growing each year and our team is constantly checking on new projects to see if they make the EHN grade. If they do we will work with them & help put a development package together in order for their project to grow. Over the coming years our hope is the creation of a development centre that works with each project to help design specific projects to help make them the best in their districts.

If you volunteer with us then please provide feedback in order for us to help the project grow & evolve into something that really makes a difference.
